AIIMS Bhubaneswar has established advanced facilities for preserving up to 50 cadavers for medical research and education. Currently, 40 bodies are available for research purposes. Medical experts emphasize the importance of body donation for medical students' practical training and discovering new treatments. Donated bodies are preserved using formalin-based embalming fluids and can be used for up to five years.
