A major scam has been unearthed in the recruitment of staff nurses at Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Government Hospital (PMPGH) in Talcher, Angul. It has been revealed that 24 nurses secured jobs using fake educational certificates. The certificates were purportedly issued by Seba School of Nursing, but the principal confirmed these individuals never studied there. The recruitment was managed by a private outsourcing agency from Jharkhand for MCL. Out of 273 certificates sent for verification, 24 were found to be forged.
