The construction of chariots for the Rath Yatra is progressing steadily in Puri. Work on the 14 'Nahakas' and 'Garagara' holes for the three chariots has been completed. Following an auspicious ritual, the 'Chaupata' work for five 'Dandas' will commence. Bhoi servants have secured 40-foot Dhauara wood logs at the site.
