Under 'Operation Clean' in Jharkhand, 27 Naxalites, including 8 carrying rewards, surrendered before the police and CRPF in Ranchi. Out of these, 25 belonged to CPI (Maoist) and 2 to JJMP. These individuals were involved in 426 serious cases including attacks on security forces and IED blasts. They handed over a large cache of arms, including an LMG, INSAS rifles, and nearly 3,000 cartridges.
