An anti-poaching team of Udanti-Sitanadi Tiger Reserve busted a wildlife crime syndicate near the Sunabeda sanctuary border in Nuapada. Two interstate smugglers from Maharashtra were arrested while transporting a tiger skin. Preliminary investigations reveal the tiger was hunted in Chhattisgarh's Indravati Abujhmad forest.
