The Odisha School and Mass Education Department has introduced a new assessment system for students from classes 3 to 8. Students will now undergo four exams per year (2 Formative and 2 Summative assessments) totaling 1200 marks. The first phase (April-September) and second phase (October-March) will each cover 600 marks.
