Andhra Pradesh Minister Kondapalli Srinivas announced that the state will soon grant widow pensions to 2.20 lakh new beneficiaries. The distribution of Rs 4,000 monthly pensions will commence in the next 1-2 months. He clarified that currently 62,34,445 people receive pensions costing the state Rs 33,000 crore annually.
