Nuapada police conducted a raid on a gambling den in the Jhalbahal forest, arresting 22 individuals and seizing over ₹3.56 lakh in cash. Along with the money, 20 smartphones, 6 motorcycles, and playing cards were confiscated. The arrested persons hail from Nuapada, Bolangir, and Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund area. Eight of the accused have prior criminal records, while two others managed to flee.
