Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's efforts have led to an agreement between Uttarakhand, UP, and NCRTC to extend the Namo Bharat (RRTS) network from Meerut's Modipuram to Rishikesh. A survey for the DPR of the 150 km track will commence soon. The route will pass through Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, and Haridwar. This high-speed connectivity will reduce travel time between Delhi and Rishikesh from 6 hours to approximately 2.5 hours.
