✨ WORD OF LIFE June 29 Have the Courage to Be Honest Truth is more than something we say. Truth is something we live. Every day, we are faced with a choice: Truth or appearance. Integrity or compromise. Authenticity or pretending. Honesty requires courage because truth often costs us something. It may require us to admit we were wrong. To accept responsibility. To apologize. To change. In a world that often values image more than integrity, it can be tempting to hide behind appearances. But God is not interested in appearances. He looks at the heart. Jesus calls us to something deeper: Authenticity. To live in truth means being the same person in public and in private. It means refusing to wear masks. It means choosing integrity even when nobody is watching. Honesty begins first before God. Prayer requires honesty. God already knows our struggles, fears, wounds, and sins. Real spiritual growth begins when we step into the light and say: "Lord, this is who I truly am. This is where I need Your mercy." Jesus said: 📖 "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32) Truth may be uncomfortable. But it always leads to freedom. Christian honesty is always joined to love. Truth without love becomes cruelty. Love without truth becomes sentimentality. But truth spoken in love brings healing. Today, take a quiet moment to examine your heart. Is there a truth you have been avoiding? An apology you need to make? A conversation you need to have? Do not be afraid of the light. God never reveals truth to condemn us. He reveals truth to heal us. 🙏 Prayer Heavenly Father, give us the courage to live honestly before You and others. Help us walk in truth and allow Your light to transform every area of our lives.
