BJP candidate Debangshu Panda secured a landslide victory in the Falta assembly re-election in West Bengal, winning by a margin of over 1 lakh votes. Panda polled 1,49,666 votes, defeating CPI(M) candidate Sambhunath Kurmi who received 40,645 votes.
