The Karnataka High Court has adjourned the hearing of a petition filed by police officer Channakeshava Tingarikar to May 26. Tingarikar, who was sentenced to seven years for destroying evidence in the murder case of BJP leader Yogesh Gowda, had sought suspension of his sentence and bail. The court noted that a detailed hearing is necessary due to serious lapses in the investigation conducted by him.
