The CBI has arrested retired judge Giribala Singh, the mother-in-law of model and actress Twisha Sharma, in connection with the latter's death. The arrest followed the dismissal of her anticipatory bail plea by the High Court. Investigations revealed signs of physical injury on the body beyond the hanging mark, along with allegations of mental torture, dowry harassment, and pressure for abortion.
