Gospel: Our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST speaks about HIMSELF. In the beginning was the Word. We know that HE was GOD. That is none other than our LORD JESUS CHRIST. If we eat HIS words, we will never feel hungry or thirsty. If we put our faith in HIM (Christ), we will never lose blessings. The SAVIOUR of the world is not talking about the blessings of the world, but about eternal blessings. The prophet Jeremiah rejoices in the words of the LORD. And when he receives the Word, he says that he eats it. In the same way, we must put our faith in CHRIST. Then there will be no lack of our spiritual and temporal blessings. We must meditate on the Word of GOD day and night to live a contented life in CHRIST. Just as CHRIST conquered Satan when HE was on earth, we can also overcome temptations with the Word. Hallelujah. So run, that ye may obtain. 1 கொரிந்தியர் 9:24 பந்தயச் சாலையில் ஓடுகிறவர்களெல்லாரும் ஓடுவார்கள்; ஆகிலும், ஒருவனே பந்தயத்தைப் பெறுவானென்று அறியீர்களா? நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளத்தக்கதாக ஓடுங்கள். Gospel: This world we live in is like a playground. After our salvation, we start our race in CHRIST. Those who come 1st, 2nd or 3rd place receive the prize. Others lose the prize. Our spiritual race is to win the carnal race. It is very difficult to win the lust of the world. If we observe the athletes who run the race, aim for the trophy, and prepare themselves to receive the trophy through hard training. St Paul explains it clearly. He compares the athlete to a believer. Just as athletes receive trophies according to their place, there are divisions in the kingdom of GOD. Like an athlete, we must subdue the desires of the flesh. Only then can we receive the precious blessings that GOD has prepared for us. It is done for the character and grace of GOD. In joy and sorrow, true thanksgiving is to praise GOD because HE is the same unchanging God. Don’t forget the benefits Man quickly remembers suffering; but he easily forgets the benefits that GOD has done. This verse tells us to remember everything: Life, breath, Protection, Forgiveness, Healing, Guidence, daily needs. When we realise and remember the benefits that GOD has done for us, thanksgiving for GOD fills our hearts and minds. Hope is strengthened, Fear for the future is removed.
