New world monkeys can’t distinguish between red and green. Humans can only see a tiny fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum, which we perceive as ROYGBIV—a combination of red, green, and blue. These unique combinations create approximately 10 million different colours. But are these all the colours there are? Just as the New World monkey navigates a world it cannot know is stripped of color, we too exist within the narrow confines of our own senses, confidently mistaking our small sliver of the spectrum for the whole of reality. However, is this truly all there is? The truth is far more complex and incomprehensible. #truth #vision #colours

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck - George and Lennie are two migrant workers who plan on owning their own piece of land with rabbits one day (livin’ off the fatta the lan). However, this dream will never come true as Lennie is endowed with immense strength and he fails to regulate it. One day, he kills a puppy because of his uncontrollable strength. Just then, Curley’s wife approaches him and allows him to caress her hair. Lennie again fails to regulate his strength and ends up breaking her neck. In order to save Lennie from a cruel death, George kills him with the Luger. The central tragedy of the story is silly, and I like silly things :) #reading #elsa #photography

ज्ञान बिन प्राणी अधूरा जैसे स्वर बिन व्यंजन अधूरे But reading isn’t the only way to gain knowledge as experiences also contribute to it. Your learnings increase your awareness of your surroundings and allow you to appreciate consciousness, which is a bliss. #ज्ञान #consciousness
