What we see on camera and what actually happens are two very different things. The camera angle and telephoto lenses compress perspective, making the aircraft look almost vertical even though it isnโt.
Interesting fact: Even during steep demonstration climbs, passenger aircraft rarely exceed 15โ18ยฐ of pitch. That โrocket launchโ look is mostly a visual illusion created by cameras โ a perfect example of aviation physics mixed with perspective.
