Rupadhar Nag, a 32-year-old migrant laborer from Nuapada district, Odisha, died in Pune, Maharashtra. After arriving in Pune on August 27 for construction work, he fell ill and was diagnosed with dengue and malaria. His condition worsened, and he was declared dead at a hospital on Tuesday. Being the sole breadwinner, his death has left his wife and 4-year-old son helpless. The local community and Labor Union have demanded government compensation and educational support for his child.
