People who are internet savvy are majorly the youth who are more appealed by the design of a brand than what the brand does or offers. Majority of people who are the potential customers and judges of your online presence expect your brand to represent itself and all that it stands for through your visual appearance. It is what appeals to their senses and stimulates a unique recognition. Youngsters these days don’t expect traditional, they want a mixture of new ideas they can relate with or stand by and a familiar identity. The visual language of Moj as a brand is synonymous with young energy, Indianness and inclusivity.

Moj literally translates to fun or happiness in several Indian regional languages including Punjabi, Gujarati and Hindi. The creative intention behind the name is a versatile app for people who live and love to express themselves. What Moj Says Through Its Visual Appearance:

Right from its logo, the solid yellow smiley face with its eyes squinted to a large variety of colorful stickers and emoticons, the overall visual appeal of Moj screams of energy that collectively comes from India’s youth which constitutes almost 35% of total population and India’s diverse culture. The two base colors, black and yellow stand for technology and entertainment respectively. The alternative vision behind a clean and striking is to create more impact with less noise. The minimal M shaped eyes remain consistent in design all across the app features and appearance.

Staying true to the high-spirited Indian culture, the vibrant yellow color that represents a new season or a phase of life, festivals of peace and happiness and new relationships is prominent in the overall graphics of Moj. No other color could represent Moj and its identity as a brand in a truer sense to its beliefs.

Yellow, indicating a fresh start is also the color of youth and their vigour that also forms the majority of our users ranging from the age of 18 to 25. Youngsters of this age are the most active and creative content consumers of Moj. Apart from primary colors of yellow and black, other prevalent secondary and tertiary colors of Moj are Aqua, Green, Red, Purple, Ivory, Orange, Fuschia and Blue. All these colors are synonymous to the soul of contemporary India and its enthusiasm and confidence, the voice of the youth who knows how to prioritize happiness and playfulness in their lives over other trivial things.
