Gospel: Man promises but never fulfills, but the promises of our LORD are Yes and Amen. When the LORD promises, it will surely come to pass. The above verse emphasizes that GOD fulfills our desires. The Bible says that the Israelites were a stiff-necked people. They were never satisfied with the LORD and HIS blessings. They grumbled about everything in the wilderness journey. But the LORD was too merciful and forgive them. HE was ready to bless them according to HIS promises. We have been given many promises from GOD in the Bible. But none have been fulfilled yet. Don’t worry about anything. The problem is on our side. We lack faith in the LORD and we are afraid of the things happening around us against the promises. One thing we need to see is that GOD was willing to fulfill HIS words to such cruel Israelites. Is it difficult for GOD to fulfill HIS promises for us? We have difficulty putting our faith in the LORD. Let us hold tightly to the promises of the LORD in our hearts and minds. HE will never leave us without fulfilling His words.
