Dharwad Milk Union has secured the first position among 15 milk unions in the state, according to President Shankar Mugad. Speaking at a meeting in Sirsi, he highlighted that the daily milk collection in the district has increased by 20,000 liters, reaching a current total of 84,000 liters. The union aims to reach 1 lakh liters daily. Incentives of Rs. 20 each have been announced for societies and secretaries per bag of Nandini Gold and Bypass milk sold. Additionally, Rs. 1.8 crore has been allocated for new milk analyzers.
