The Karnataka Food Safety and Drug Administration Department has intensified inspections across Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Mangaluru. In Mysuru, officials seized 9 kg of expired chicken from Rio Meridian, 68 kg of meat from Grand Mercure, and 4 kg of mushrooms from Khan Darbar. Notices were issued to three resorts in Mysuru and Nanjangud. Additionally, a KFC outlet in Mangaluru was raided following customer complaints about stale 'Chicken Peri Peri Leg' ordered online. Authorities disposed of 16 kg of expired food items during the operation.
