InterLink Is Researching and Testing New Mechanisms for Post-Quantum Security 🔐⚛️ @inter_link is continuing to research and experiment with new cryptographic mechanisms as part of its long-term preparation for the post-quantum era. One of the most important directions currently being explored is ML-DSA-65 under FIPS 204, a post-quantum digital signature standard published by NIST. @inter_link is testing how ML-DSA-65 can be integrated at multiple levels of blockchain infrastructure, including both validator consensus keys and user account keys. This is particularly important because preparing a blockchain for quantum-resistant security is not simply about replacing one signature algorithm. The entire lifecycle of cryptographic keys, from user accounts to validators and consensus operations, needs to be considered. @inter_link is also exploring validator consensus key rotation, allowing validator keys to be changed over time rather than remaining permanent. The mechanism is being designed for both standard staking and PoA environments, with compatibility for genesis import and export. Alongside cryptographic research, @inter_link is experimenting with infrastructure improvements such as configurable Block-STM parallel execution and pre-state caching to improve transaction execution and state-processing efficiency. These developments are still part of an ongoing process of research, testing, and infrastructure experimentation. Post-quantum security will not come from a single upgrade. It requires continuous research across cryptography, consensus, key management, and network architecture. @inter_link is starting that work early. 🌐 #InterLink #ITLG #ITL #InterLink #ITLG #ITL #ITLX
