Thousands of people participated in two separate protests in central London: one against high immigration rates and the other in support of Palestinians. Police deployed 4,000 officers in one of the largest public order operations in years. Eleven people were arrested during the marches. The anti-immigration march, titled 'Unite the Kingdom,' was organized by activist Tommy Robinson, while the pro-Palestine march marked Nakba Day. The British government warned against provocative slogans, stating that arrests would be made for anti-Semitic language or inciting violence.
