Security forces, including Nuapada Police, CRPF 19th Battalion, and DVF units, successfully uncovered a Maoist camp during a search operation in the Patadhara Reserve Forest. A significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was seized from an underground dump. Recovered items include country-made guns, a carbine, AK-47 and SLR rounds, IEDs, gelatin sticks, and Maoist uniforms. Superintendent of Police Amritpal Singh confirmed that although the district is largely Maoist-free, combing operations continue to dismantle any remaining networks.
