Over 3,000 households in Ganjam district received zero electricity bills in May thanks to the successful implementation of solar energy. Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and TPSODL's ULA model, a total of 11,187 rooftop solar panels have been installed in the district. This initiative has made Ganjam a leading solar district in Odisha. Residents like Trilochan Mallik from Belaguntha reported saving up to 800 rupees monthly by switching to solar power.
