A heroic bus driver in Uttarakhand sacrificed his life to save 34 passengers after the vehicle's brakes failed on a steep slope. Beni Ram Thawal (49) steered the bus into a hillside to prevent it from falling into a gorge. During the impact, he fell out and was crushed under the front wheel.
