The Odisha State Archaeology Department has signed a non-financial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Kharagpur and SPA Bhopal for the preservation and digital mapping of historical monuments. This initiative covers 82 ASI-protected sites and 212 state-protected monuments using technologies like LiDAR, 3D animation, and GIS.
