In a major security breach at a government drug de-addiction center in Janer, Moga, 31 patients escaped after attacking security personnel. The incident occurred late at night when the patients allegedly incited a commotion, prompting guards to open the inner gate. According to the police, two patients with serious criminal backgrounds instigated the escape. At the time of the incident, 98 patients were admitted to the facility.
