A three-story building at a waste-to-energy plant in the Moshi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, collapsed on Wednesday. Approximately 14-15 employees are feared trapped under the debris. NDRF, fire brigade, and police teams have launched a rescue operation using slab-cutting equipment. The collapse was reportedly caused by the accumulation of waste and water on the roof due to heavy rains. One person has been hospitalized with serious injuries, while efforts continue to rescue others safely.
