📖 Story (Vrat Katha)
According to the Bhavishyottara Purana and Padma Purana, after protecting the universe and defeating powerful demons, Lord Vishnu chose to rest in Yoga Nidra on the bright Ekadashi of the Ashadha month. Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi, and other deities continue their divine responsibilities.
Saints and devotees dedicate themselves to prayer, charity, fasting, scriptural study, and spiritual discipline.
