The body of famous Kabaddi player Pargat Singh, alias Baggar, was found under suspicious circumstances in a canal near Dhanoula-Barnala road. A resident of Harigarh village, Singh was reportedly under mental stress due to financial hardships and the responsibility of supporting two families following his elder brother's death two years ago. He is survived by his wife and two small children.
