In the Renukaswamy murder case, the 14th accused, Pradosh, has filed a petition in the 59th CCH Court to become an approver (state witness). This move has caused significant concern for actor Darshan and Pavithra Gowda. SPP Prasanna Kumar argued that under CrPC Sections 306 and 307, the court can grant pardon if the accused reveals the complete truth, which would strengthen the prosecution's case. However, Darshan's lawyer, Hashmath Pasha, objected, stating that the prosecution already claims to have sufficient evidence. Pradosh was reportedly an eyewitness to the assault. The court has shared the petition copy with other defense lawyers, and a final decision is awaited.
