Naresh Gujral, son of former PM I.K. Gujral and ex-Rajya Sabha MP, fell victim to a cyber fraud where scammers impersonated him on WhatsApp to trick his company's CFO into transferring ₹7.68 crore. The CFO conducted four RTGS transactions before the fraud was discovered on June 16. Following a complaint, the Delhi Police's Special Cyber Cell (IFSO) managed to recover and freeze ₹4.28 crore (about 70%) of the defrauded amount.
