The body of famous Kabaddi player Pargat Singh, alias Baggar, was recovered from a canal near Dhanoula-Barnala road in Barnala, Punjab. Local residents grew suspicious after seeing his motorcycle parked near the canal for a long time. Singh, a resident of Harigarh village, was reportedly under mental stress due to financial constraints and family responsibilities following his elder brother's death two years ago. He is survived by his wife and two small children.
