A BJP delegation led by state president B.Y. Vijayendra filed a formal complaint with the State Election Commission regarding alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. The BJP accused the ruling Congress government of misusing Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and conducting the revision process in mosques and private halls instead of door-to-door visits.
