Otherwise, it is like a bird wandering from its safe place, which is the nest. When we stray from GOD'S plan, we will surely encounter failures and will not be able to succeed in our spiritual life and even in our worldly life. Some birds like the eagle build their nests on a mountain that no one can reach. Isn’t that a very safe place? When we meditate the nest, it is GOD'S safest place. HE has carved our images in the palm of HIS hand. What a powerful protection! We must submit our entire lives into the hands of the LORD. If we wander, leaving the nest, we will become prey to the enemy. Satan will win and we will lose the blessings that the Lord has prepared for us. Let us humble and submit ourselves before our LORD and receive comfort. But the LORD was too merciful and forgive them. HE was ready to bless them according to HIS promises. We have been given many promises from GOD in the Bible. But none have been fulfilled yet. Don’t worry about anything. The problem is on our side. We lack faith in the LORD and we are afraid of the things happening around us against the promises. One thing we need to see is that GOD was willing to fulfill HIS words to such cruel Israelites. Is it difficult for GOD to fulfill HIS promises for us? We have difficulty putting our faith in the LORD. Let us hold tightly to the promises of the LORD in our hearts and minds. HE will never leave us without fulfilling His words.
