Al Hajar mountain range
The tall flat-top mountain is similar to Jebel Shams, the highest mountain in Oman
Rocks are steep and layered, showing millions of years of erosion
The area is dry, rocky, and mostly desert-colored
Cool weather compared to lowlands
Often called the “Grand Canyon of Arabia” because of deep valleys and cliffs

മരണം ഒരു നാശമല്ല;

January 1st. New year. New road.
I started the year by traveling nearly 3,000 kilometers, chasing silence, mountains, and the kind of freedom you only feel far away from routine. The road was long, tiring, and beautiful in ways that photos can never fully explain.
By nightfall, I reached the mountains and set up a small camp under a sky full of stars. Cold air, quiet wind, and that deep peace you only find when you’re completely unplugged from the world.
That’s where I met three girls — strangers at first, but with such amazing character and genuine humanity that the night felt warmer instantly. Different stories, different journeys, but the same love for travel, nature, and meaningful conversations. We shared laughs, stories, silence, and moments that didn’t need phones or filters.
No luxury. No rush.
Just mountains, a campfire, honest conversations, and a reminder that the best parts of traveling are often the people you meet when you least expect it.
This is how my year began — grounded, grateful, and inspired.
Some journeys don’t just change your location… they change you.
