ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਦੇ ਫਸਲ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਉੱਘੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ ਡਾ. ਹਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਥਿਰ ਖੇਤੀ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਡਾ. ਐੱਸ ਵੀ ਆਰ ਸ਼ੈਟੀ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਸ਼ੈਟੀ ਨੇ ਫੋਰਡ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਫੈਲੋਸ਼ਿਪ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਓਰੇਗਨ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਏ.ਯੂ. ਤੋਂ 1973 ਵਿਚ ਨਦੀਨ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੀ ਐੱਚ ਡੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਖੇਤੀ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਫਸਲ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਹਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ।ਡਾ. ਸ਼ੈਟੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਡੇਰੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਤੇਜਕ ਤੱਥ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ| ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਥਿਰ ਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਲੀ ਚੱਕਰ ਸੁਧਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਲਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ, ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ, ਰਸਾਇਣਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰਤਾ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਬਣਾਏ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਅਪਨਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਧਨਿਕ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੇ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਦੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਪਸਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਲਾਰ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਡਾ. ਲਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ, ਡਾ. ਜੇ ਐੱਸ ਸੰਧੂ, ਡਾ.ਯੂ ਐੱਸ ਵਾਲੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਡਾ. ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਲਖ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। #punjabagriculturaluniversity #punjab #ludhiana #punjab #agriculture #farming #📑ਸ਼ੇਅਰਚੈਟ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ 📑

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੌਸਮ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੁੱਖ ਬਦਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਣ ਨਾਲ ਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ 14 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੱਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ 30 ਤੋਂ 40 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ, ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਲਈ ਯੈਲੋ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।ਵਿਭਾਗ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਲਿਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਅੰਸ਼ਕ ਬੱਦਲ ਛਾਏ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਧੂੜ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਹਨੇਰੀਆਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕਈ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਜ-ਚਮਕ ਨਾਲ ਹਲਕੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਵੀ ਜਤਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵਾਧਾ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਮੌਸਮ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਗੜਬੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ 4 ਤੋਂ 6 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤੱਕ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਧੂੜ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਵਰਤੋ।#weather #punjab #weatherchange #weatherforecast #weatherupdate #rain #heat #📑ਸ਼ੇਅਰਚੈਟ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ 📑
