Are your calls being forwarded to someone else’s phone without your knowledge? Through Call Forwarding Scams, cyber criminals use fake customer care calls, phishing links, USSD codes, and social engineering tactics to trick users into diverting their calls to fraudsters’ numbers. To reduce this risk, the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications has introduced a new safety measure. From 1 July 2026: • Telecom companies will send an official SMS alert whenever call forwarding is activated • The SMS will include the forwarded number details • Instructions to deactivate call forwarding will also be provided • Activation and deactivation records will be maintained for at least 1 year Citizens are advised to: • Dial *#21# to check your call forwarding status • Dial ##002# to deactivate call forwarding • Never dial codes shared by unknown callers • Avoid following instructions from fake customer care executives #🌐 राष्ट्रीय अपडेट #📹 वायरल वीडियो #news #india #scamalert

Agar koi aapko private photos ya videos online share karne ki dhamki de raha hai, toh panic karne ki zaroorat nahi hai, preventive steps available hain. StopNCII.org ek aisa mechanism provide karta hai jahan: • Aap apni image/video ka digital fingerprint (hash) create kar sakte hain • Yeh hash social media platforms ke saath share hota hai • Matching content detect hone par platforms usse block ya remove kar sakte hain Iss process mein aapko apni original image upload nahi karni hoti. Hash aapke device par generate hota hai. Timely action se further spread roka ja sakta hai. Note: I4C, MHA kisi private website ya service ko endorse nahi karta. Yeh jaankari jan hit mein share ki gayi hai. If you are a victim of cyber fraud, report it immediately by calling 1930 or visiting cybercrime.gov.in #womensafety #OnlineScam #scamalert #scam #cybercrime
