In a major breakthrough, Berhampur Town Police encountered Mukesh Sahu, the prime accused in the brutal assault of a young man and woman on Giri Road. The encounter took place near Tamana Road where Sahu sustained gunshot wounds to his knees and hand. He is currently undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College. Previously, two other accomplices, Raj Malhotra and Lingaraj Samal, were arrested and their scooters and mobile phones were seized.
