A Volvo bus carrying 42 pilgrims to Mata Vaishno Devi collided with a truck on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway near Rajpura. The bus driver, Inderjit Singh, died on the spot, while 15 pilgrims were injured. Six critically injured individuals were shifted to Chandigarh hospitals, while others are being treated at Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital.
