International sand artist Subal Maharana and his team of 20 artists have created a massive 140-foot-long sand sculpture of Lord Buddha on the banks of the Daya River in Bhubaneswar. The artwork, which is 50 feet wide and 36 feet high, aims to spread the message of peace and non-violence amidst global conflicts like the Israel-Iran war. Constructed using JCBs and manual labor, the sculpture is located near Dhauli on the Puri-Bhubaneswar road. It will remain open for public viewing until May 30th, attracting many commuters and tourists.
