NHAI is launching Odisha's first 'Bee Corridor' project along National Highways. The initiative aims to enhance the beauty of roads and protect biodiversity by planting 20,000 flowering and fruit-bearing trees. Four major NH routes in Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, and Ganjam have been identified for this project, starting in June. Trees like Neem, Karanja, and Jamun will provide a safe habitat for bees and pollinators, which in turn will help local farmers with better crop yields through improved pollination. If successful, this environmental project could serve as a model for the entire country. https://otvkhabar.in/odisha/odisha-launches-first-bee-corridor-project-to-beautify-national-highways-and-support-biodiversity-11887946 #creator program
