Inder Kaur, a 29-year-old Punjabi singer and makeup artist who was abducted at gunpoint from Ludhiana six days ago, has been found murdered. Her body was recovered from the Neelo canal. According to her family, the crime was committed by Sukhwinder Singh, an NRI based in Canada, after she refused to marry him upon learning he was already married. The accused allegedly entered India via Nepal to commit the murder and has since fled back to Canada.
