Due to heavy rainfall caused by a depression in the Bay of Bengal, authorities have opened two gates of the Ghodahada Dam in Digapahandi to release excess water. The dam's water level reached 117.40 meters against its maximum capacity of 117.80 meters. An alert has been issued via loudspeakers to residents of over 20 riverside villages, including Patapur and Golanda, advising them to stay away from the river. Water Resources Department officials are monitoring the situation closely. https://www.dharitri.com/water-released-from-ghodahada-dam-2-gates-opened/ #creator program
