NDA cadets in India receive a monthly stipend during their training. According to the 7th Pay Commission, cadets at the final stage of military academies like IMA, AFA, or INA get a stipend of ₹56,100 per month, which is equivalent to level 10 of the pay matrix. However, deductions are made for insurance (AGIF) and other grooming expenses. After all deductions, cadets receive around ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 as cash-in-hand.
