India has rejected the ruling by the 'Court of Arbitration' (CoA) regarding the Indus Water Treaty, labeling the body as illegally constituted. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India's decision to suspend the treaty remains unchanged. India emphasized it never recognized the existence of this arbitration court and considers its proceedings a violation of the treaty. The suspension was enacted following the Pahalgam terror attacks, with India asserting it will not fulfill treaty obligations until Pakistan stops supporting cross-border terrorism.
