Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) President K. Selvaperunthagai has announced his decision to resign from his post. Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport, he stated that some party members have been criticizing him without proper understanding. He mentioned that he had already conveyed his decision to AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge before the elections. Though the party leadership asked him to wait for a while, an official announcement regarding his resignation is expected soon.
