Activists in Raichur have raised concerns over the deteriorating education system in the Kalyan Karnataka region due to severe teacher shortages. During a convention, R.K. Hudagi and Raghavendra Kushtagi highlighted that over 30,000 government posts are vacant, including 10,000 positions for English, Math, and Science teachers. Despite the implementation of the Nanjundappa report, the Human Development Index remains low, and 40 out of 50 taluks are classified as backward.
