Two cadets from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (AFPI), Arpit Parashar and Vishesh Sood, have been commissioned as officers in the Indian Navy. The commissioning took place during the Passing Out Parade at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala. Arpit hails from Dhuri, Sangrur, while Vishesh is from Mohali. This milestone brings the total number of naval officers from the institute to 24.
